To commemorate International Women’s Day and the international diversity of women at FIU and surrounding communities, the Women’s Center will sponsor the “Women’s Bazaar” during Women’s HERstory Month in March 2024. “Women’s Bazaar” will be a marketplace where local woman-owned businesses throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties can showcase their merchandise for sale to the FIU community. The bazaar will also acknowledge the increasing rates of women seeking out entrepreneurship and starting their own businesses as a form of economic opportunity and growing lifestyle.
